Toronto's 2nd Annual Winter Brewfest ReturnsToronto is a city that knows what it likes. Trends and movements begin, Toronto tastemakers hop on board, and with that a craze takes off city wide! The masses have spoken, and it's becoming very apparent that Toronto likes - like, REALLY likes - craft beer. Unsurprisingly, we're seeing more craft beer-centric restaurants, breweries, and events are popping up with each passing season. One such event is Toronto's Winter Brewfest, a super popular 2-day celebration where lovers of craft beer can unite and delight in their favourite beverages. Here's what to look forward to at this year's event.
For the second time, Toronto Winter Brewfest returns to our fair city. The festivities will happen on Friday March 24th and Saturday March 25th at Heritage Court in the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place from 6pm - 1am. Last year's event sold out completely, and with this year's upgrades it's expected to be an even bigger deal. Lovers of craft beer can look forward to more than 150 beers to sample from breweries all across Ontario and Quebec.

Wait times should be less this year thanks to the new cashless system, so you'll get those cold brews in hand a lot quicker. Your RFID wristband will serve as both your admission ticket and your digital wallet at the event. Samples will be $3 or less, and your first drink is included in the purchase of your ticket! The space at this year's Brewfest is also twice the size! Festival-goers will have more space, meaning there will be even more breweries and local gourmet food trucks at this year's event.
Early bird tickets have already sold out, but tickets for both days are still available to purchase online. Each ticket includes an Ecocup sampling glass, as well as 3 brew bucks, which is equivalent to $3. You can also buy your brew bucks ahead of time, so your cashless account is loaded up before you get there. A 'Yoga on Tap' class, which includes 4 beer tastings while you namaste, can also be pre-purchased.
This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, so get ready for live music, good eats, great brews, and even better company! Bottoms up!
